Born in the lively city of Salvador, famous for its Carnaval and sunny beaches, I embarked on a new chapter in 2003, journeying to the United Kingdom. Yet, this transition was not without its challenges. Arriving with no command of English, I faced the formidable task of navigating immigration processes and adapting to a new culture.
Determined to overcome these challenges, I immersed myself into learning English, dedicating hours to language schools to refine my skills. My journey began with humble beginnings, starting as a cleaner and gradually progressing through roles at various establishments, including working at restaurants, Sainsbury’s, and the Banking Nationwide Building Society. Driven by an ambition to succeed, I managed to achieve various qualifications with honors and gained experiences within the banking sector throughout the years. It was this rich tapestry of experiences that ignited the spark to establish STARTIN.
